Description

The Test Analyst position at iLaunch involves performing both manual and automated testing, designing and developing test automation frameworks, and testing collection products and payment systems. The role also includes participation in integration and migration projects. Candidates should have a Matric/Grade 12 qualification and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with ISTQB certification. A minimum of five years of experience, preferably in the financial services or banking industry, is required, along with expertise in automation tools such as Selenium or Power Automate. The role emphasizes test automation, regression, and functional testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform both manual and automation testing
• Design and develop test automation frameworks
• Conduct testing on collection products and payment systems
• Participate in integration and migration projects
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality assurance throughout the development process
• Identify and document defects and work with developers to resolve issues
• Execute regression and functional testing to ensure system stability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
