The Automation Engineer role at Expleo involves developing and implementing automation systems in pharmaceutical production, ensuring they comply with industry regulations and operate efficiently. Key responsibilities include real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, managing installations, upgrades, and optimizations of automated systems like PLCs and SCADA. The role also involves executing validation protocols and improving production processes to enhance efficiency and product quality. The ideal candidate should have experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing automation, advanced PLC programming skills (Siemens, Rockwell), and knowledge of electrical systems like Eplan and Schneider Electric's AVEVA inTouch HMI.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing automation systems for pharmaceutical production, ensuring they meet regulatory standards
• Ensuring automated systems operate smoothly, performing real-time monitoring, and troubleshooting any issues that arise within the PLCs or SCADA systems
• Overseeing automation projects, including managing installations, upgrades, and optimizations for process improvements
• Ensuring automation systems comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations and executing validation protocols for system changes
• Engaging in projects to improve production efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure product quality, with a focus on maintaining the high standards of a pharmaceutical environment

Qualifications

• Experience in the field of pharmaceutical manufacturing (automation)
• Advanced knowledge of PLC program: Siemens (STEP7, TIAPortal, PLC Safety)
• English: medium to advanced level
• Knowledge of Eplan/See Electrical/Xelec
• Knowledge of PLC Rockwell, ALAN BRADLEY, Schneider Electric
• Knowledge of AVEVA inTouch HMI (Wonderware) by Schneider Electric
