Description

Momentum Investments Group is offering academically top-performing students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds the chance to further their education and potentially grow their careers through the Phambili 2.0 bursary programme. This initiative provides students with financial support for their studies and offers the opportunity to compete for a place in the Phambili Internship programme, which could lead to roles within the investment sector.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high academic performance throughout the bursary period
  • Provide proof of household income, academic results, and university acceptance when requested
  • Participate in the selection process, which may include shortlisting and verification of provided information

Qualifications

  • Must be accepted by an accredited public university for the 2025 academic year, studying towards a Bachelor of Commerce qualification in Investment Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Management, Accounting, IT, or related field
  • Must be in your first, second, or third year of study in 2025
  • Must come from a previously disadvantaged group, with a combined household income of less than R600k per annum (proof required)
  • Must have achieved an academic average of at least 75% in the previous year of study
