The South African Library for the Blind (SALB) is offering an internship programme for visually impaired individuals who have passed a relevant N6 qualification, National Diploma, or Degree at a SAQA accredited Tertiary Institute. The program offers internships in various disciplines, including Human Resource Management, Office Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, Library and Information Science, Marketing, Public Relations, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, and Public Administration. To be considered for the program, candidates must hold a minimum N6 qualification relevant to one of the disciplines, be computer literate at an intermediate level in MS Office suite, be legally blind or diagnosed with low vision, be a South African citizen, fluent in English as the business language, be willing to travel independently, reside in the province where the internship placements may be, and have good interpersonal and communication skills.
