This P27 role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer shopping experience through stock replenishment, merchandising, housekeeping, and efficient transaction processing at till points. The key responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, assisting shoppers in finding desired products, attending to customer queries and complaints, handling cashier duties, processing cash and card payments, laying bys, refunds, reporting discrepancies, and balancing tills. Merchandising involves ensuring stock is correctly priced and displayed, product availability, housekeeping, and staying updated with promotions. Risk management involves ensuring products are tagged in line with company policy, participating in stock takes, and reporting suspicious behavior to management. Consistently living the Ackermans values and policies and procedures is essential. Knowledge skills include excellent customer service, fluency in English, being tenacious, high energy levels, highly motivated, and target-driven. Previous retail experience is also beneficial.
