Tronox KZN Sands is offering bursary opportunities to top performing students enrolled for their 1st year in 2025 at universities in Empangeni and Mutunzini, KWAZULU NATAL. The bursary will be awarded in fields such as Mine Surveying, Mine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering (Process Instrumentation). Students must be registered for a BSc/BEng/BCOM/BTECH Degree/Advance Diploma in any of these disciplines in 2025.
Applicants must submit a brief Curriculum Vitae with certified supporting documents, including an ID, Grade 12 certificate/Statement of Results, acceptance letter, proof of residence from the Tribal Council (TC), and a valid driver's license. Preference will be given to applicants from tribal councils/municipals in the Kwa Dube Area, Kwa Nzunza Area, Kwa Mkhwanazi, Ogagwini, Somopho, Macambini, Madlebe, and Mandeni municipalities.
Applications must be submitted by 16h00 on 22 August 2024. Applications without supporting documents or after the closing date will not be considered. Pre-screening evaluations, medical assessments, and psychometric evaluations may be part of the selection process.
